With Fibryx, you rely on lightweight materials made of natural fibres, which have been developed especially for the requirements of carav cultivation: lightweight, robust, weatherproof and easy to integrate into existing processes. With our material, high-quality visual components can be realized, painted with gel coat or in car colour.

Payload

Unlike GRP, we save up to 30% weight. This means: more payload for end customers, better handling characteristics and a clear advantage over conventional materials.

Longevity

Our natural fibre composites are resistant to UV radiation, moisture and mechanical loads. Even under demanding conditions, the components retain their dimensional stability and functionality.

Surface diversity

Whether ready-to-coat, gelcoat or natural fiber optics, the surfaces can be designed flexibly. We offer you design freedom with the highest material quality.

Properties

Sustainable

Our materials are based on European natural fibres, are recyclable and free of styrene or formaldehyde. Our material development is based on the EU Ecodesign Regulation.

Weight down, range up

Lighter skin parts, roofs and floor modules create payload reserves for luggage, wheels or larger water tanks. At the same time, consumption, i.e. Energy demand – E-vans continue to drive noticeably per charge.

Travel quietly, built stable

Torsionally stiff, impact-resistant composite parts reduce creaking and rattling noises and dampen vibrations. Hail and stone impact resistance ensure durable superstructures and relaxed driving – even on corrugated sheet pistes.

Series fit without conversion

Fibryx components run into existing manufacturing and assembly processes (RTM/vacuum/pressing). Surfaces come ready for painting or with gelcoat, inserts and fixing points (furniture, awnings, roof racks) we integrate directly – short cycle times, no additional effort.

Manufacturing processes

We define layer structure, curing windows and inserts, ensure paintable surfaces (optional gel coat) and document reproducible quality in short cycles. Process documents (e.g. CoC, test reports) and SOP accompaniment are part of our scope of delivery.

Tailored prepregs

Prepregs are reinforcing fibers pre-impregnated with resin system. This ensures a high and constant quality of the composite material.

Tailor-made prepregs with Fibryx natural fibres have significant advantages over standard prepregs on the market:

  • Complete layer construction: we already supply the material with the complete layer structure, so that the manual production effort is reduced by stacking and inserting individual layers
  • Close to final contour: Our prepregs are tailored close to the final contour of the component, minimizing waste and manufacturing costs
  • Material optimizedWe adapt fiber and resin systems exactly to your requirements for the optimal balance between mechanical properties, weight and costs.

Panels

Our sandwich panels combine two layers of natural fibre composite with a lightweight middle layer, the core. This design combines high mechanical properties with low weight.

Material requirements can be designed flexibly: we can produce cover layers of fabric, unidirectional fabric or nonwoven in any thickness. We use different core materials such as recycled PET, balsa wood or cardboard with thicknesses between 5 and 50 mm.
