For exterior components of trucks, such as side panels, roof modules or aerodynamic parts, the highest requirements apply: they must be light and stable, withstand weather and UV radiation permanently and at the same time enable Class A surfaces.
The weight saving compared to GRP parts with up to 30% enables greater payloads. In addition, consumption is reduced and thus CO2 emissions
Our natural fibre composites are resistant to UV radiation, moisture and mechanical loads. Even under demanding conditions, the components retain their dimensional stability and functionality.

Manufacturing processes
We define layer structure, curing windows and inserts, ensure paintable surfaces (optional gel coat) and document reproducible quality in short cycles. Process documents (e.g. CoC, test reports) and SOP accompaniment are part of our scope of delivery.

Out-of-autoclave (OoA) curing
The tailor-made prepregs are draped into the mold and cured under temperature with a classic vacuum setup for prepregs, without any autoclave. Alternatively, vacuum bag-only processes or reusable vacuum membranes can also be used for OoA processes.

Hot pressing process
In the hot pressing process, our custom-made prepregs are placed directly into a heated tool and cured under pressure.

Vacuum bag-only (VBO) curing
As in the out-of-autoclave process, the tailored prepregs are draped into the mold and then pressed with a vacuum bag. Consumables such as tear-off fabric, perforated film and flow aid are dispensed with.

Reusable vacuum hood
The process is similar to OoA or VBO but instead of disposable films, reusable vacuum hoods are used. This not only eliminates consumables, but also significantly reduces manual effort.

Prepregs are reinforcing fibers pre-impregnated with resin system. This ensures a high and constant quality of the composite material.

Our sandwich panels combine two layers of natural fibre composite with a lightweight middle layer, the core. This design combines high mechanical properties with low weight.
Material requirements can be designed flexibly: we can produce cover layers of fabric, unidirectional fabric or nonwoven in any thickness. We use different core materials such as recycled PET, balsa wood or cardboard with thicknesses between 5 and 50 mm.
