Industrial lightweight construction with natural fibres – cost-efficient thanks to Fibryx technology
Our patented impregnating process for the production of prepregs is the most cost-efficient way to achieve industrial-ready quality with natural fibre composites while meeting all the requirements of industrial serial production processes.
Less weight also means less use of materials and thus cost savings. This is possible because natural fibers have a much lower density than glass fibers or aluminum. Specifically, Fibryx composite materials achieve very good material properties and create potential for weight reduction.
Our tailor-made prepregs are produced close to the final contour and with complete layer construction. This minimizes the manufacturing effort. Instead of inserting and cutting individual layers, our prepreg can be quickly and easily inserted into the mold.
Durability due to pore-free surface. Robustness due to strong mechanical properties. Low weight due to high fiber volume proportion.
Tailor-made prepregs can be integrated into existing manufacturing processes, even if no prepregs have been used so far. Existing forms can continue to be used. No high investment in manufacturing equipment is necessary.
We achieve high fiber volume proportions by efficiently impregnating the complete layer structure. This enables low weight with high mechanical properties of the component.
Applications
Our material for industrial lightweight construction is used in numerous mobility applications. From caravans to buses and commercial vehicles: lightweight components in the exterior and interior benefit from the outstanding properties of our composite material.

Our sandwich panels combine two layers of natural fibre composite with a lightweight middle layer, the core. This design combines high mechanical properties with low weight.
Material requirements can be designed flexibly: we can produce cover layers of fabric, unidirectional fabric or nonwoven in any thickness. We use different core materials such as recycled PET, balsa wood or cardboard with thicknesses between 5 and 50 mm.

With our engineering expertise and production facilities, we efficiently convert natural fibres into marketable applications. Delivery with CoC or PPAP and on request JIT or JIS.
