Our material is used for components of caravans, commercial vehicles, trucks, and buses. With Fibryx natural fiber composites, weight is reduced with high performance of the material.

We select the right material for your lightweight application. Depending on your requirements, we will provide you with lightweight construction material that meets your load cases, unit numbers and budget.

By selecting the resin system, fibers and additives, we can realize a wide range of material properties. You can seamlessly integrate our material into your process chain.

Tailored prepregs

Prepregs are reinforcing fibers pre-impregnated with resin. This ensures a high and constant quality of the composite material.

Tailor-made prepregs with Fibryx natural fibres have significant advantages over standard prepregs on the market:

  • Complete layer construction: we already supply the material with the complete layer structure, so that the manual production effort is reduced by stacking and inserting individual layers
  • Close to final contour: Our prepregs are tailored close to the final contour of the component, minimizing waste and manufacturing costs
  • Material optimizedWe adapt fiber and resin systems exactly to your requirements for the optimal balance between mechanical properties, weight and costs.

Panels

Our sandwich panels combine two layers of natural fibre composite with a lightweight middle layer, the core. This design combines high mechanical properties with low weight.

Material requirements can be designed flexibly: we can produce cover layers of fabric, unidirectional fabric or nonwoven in any thickness. We use different core materials such as recycled PET, balsa wood or cardboard with thicknesses between 5 and 50 mm.

We support our customers in the development and production of components made of natural fibres. From design and CAD design to mould construction and prototypes to series production, we offer all steps from a single source.

With our engineering expertise and production facilities, we efficiently convert natural fibres into marketable applications. Delivery with CoC or PPAP and on request JIT or JIS.

Cost, mechanical properties, surface and processing: For the optimal solution, everything must fit. That’s why Fibryx offers a variety of possibilities.

With our patented impregnation process, we can process a wide range of natural fibers, such as flax, hemp or jute in the form of woven fabric, scrim or nonwoven. We can also process highly viscous resin systems and thus enable a high bio-content up to almost 100%.

We offer a wide range of core materials and thicknesses for our sandwich panels.

Permanent & Secure

Our natural fibre composites are torsionally stiff and impact-resistant, dampen vibrations and remain dimensionally stable even under moisture. They withstand washing systems, cleaners and road salt as well as stone chipping – ideal for tough continuous use in fleet and construction site operations.

Sustainable & Available

Biogenic fibre content and European raw material base improve the CO2 balance and secure the supply. The components run without major adjustments in existing RTM, vacuum or press lines; We integrate inserts, attachment points and edge profiles directly – for short cycle times and a reliable series supply.

Manufacturing processes

We define layer structure, curing windows and inserts, ensure paintable surfaces (optional gel coat) and document reproducible quality in short cycles. Process documents (e.g. CoC, test reports) and SOP accompaniment are part of our scope of delivery.

Prepreg presses

Short cycles, reproducible quality and near-contour laminate structures. Ideal for series components with clear cycle specifications.

Permanent Vacuum Bags

Clean impregnation, very low porosity and stable processes – without complex disposable bags. Economical for medium to large series.

Vacuum Prepreg Molding

Maximum flexibility in component size and complexity. Good surfaces, little rework and fast tool changes.

Autoclave

For the highest component quality, visible surfaces and complex geometries. Very low porosity and excellent dimensional stability.

Continue to use RTM/pressing tools

Adapt existing forms (temperature, bagging concept, B-stage setup). Save invest and accelerate the SOP.

Surface and finish

Paintable from tool or as a visible natural fiber. Optional gelcoat; Brand and design requirements can be presented safely.
